What is annealing, and why is it so important?

Annealing is the process of allowing glass to cool slowly to remove internal stresses. This ensures that the piece is sturdy and not likely to break due to small impacts.

We follow the Corning Museum's guidance on annealing pieces to ensure each piece leaves our shop body-safe. We also go above-and-beyond and thoroughly inspect each piece under a polariscope before sending them on their way.

Are your pieces solid or hollow?

All of the toys we list on our shop are strictly solid borosilicate glass. We do this so our pieces are solid and will last for many years to come and for our own safety philosophy.

Do you offer your pieces for wholesale?

We do not offer our pieces for wholesale, and have no intent to as we spend a lot of time to ensure each piece is properly annealed and beautifully colored.

Average:

Stripey McStriperton here with a review of another bestriped item. This one certainly is elegant as it is full of sparkly opals as well as green stripes. Looks completely fantastic. The only other glass fellow I've ever had was a simple purple hue so this guy here is much more fanciful. I prefer squishier blokes betwixt my nethers, but they aren't usually as gorgeous as glass allows. We had a grand time when we first met, but I don't recall the particulars and wanted to hurriedly write a review as Etsy's Line of Annihilation is quickly encroaching upon items I have waited too long to review. Oh, and it was 40 or 50% off when I got it, so that was quite the bargain as well.
